The tuition at St. Mary's Academy covers costs common to all students: textbooks, laboratories, lockers, additional support for academic success including access to qualified counselors, and faculty and peer tutoring.

Additional Fees

  • $500: Non-refundable Registration Fee
  • $500: Senior Fees
  • $200: Athletic Fee (per sport)

  • $20/hr: Parent Involvement Hours
    • Billed $20 for each uncompleted hour
    • 20 hours required if receiving financial aid
    • 10 hours if full paying

Tuition Payment Plans

Families have the option to choose between four different payment plans:

  • Annual Plan: Full payment due by August 1st 
  • Semi-Annual Plan: Two equal payments due August and January
  • Quarterly Plan: Four equal payments due August, November, January & March
  • Monthly Plans: Twelve or ten equal payments due each month, July through June

If, after selecting a payment plan, a parent/guardian encounters unanticipated financial difficulty, it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to notify the Business Office as soon as possible to discuss an alternative payment plan.

 

Tuition and Billing Platform

All families must enroll with FACTS and select a tuition plan on or before May 1st. FACTS will assess an administrative fee of $50, which will be billed prior to your first month’s tuition or added to your first month's billing if invoiced. All tuition payments can be made through FACTS Tuition Management and St. Mary’s may automatically re-enroll families in FACTS tuition payment program for each subsequent school year.

Financial Aid

We recognize that a private school education is a significant investment. The purpose of our Financial Aid Program is to offer students’ families with financial support so that they may access a Catholic education, which might otherwise be inaccessible.

Financial aid at St. Mary's Academy is awarded as follows:

St. Mary’s Academy offers a variety of merit scholarships to incoming 9th grade students based on an applicant's demonstrated excellence.

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for applicants wanting to be considered for merit scholarships. Students are strongly encouraged to take the HSPT at St. Mary's Academy. 

Head of School Distinction Scholarship

  • 100% tuition for 4 years
  • Valued at over $45,000 in total scholarship
  • Awarded to the Onward Scholar with the top HSPT scores

Onward Scholars Program

  • 75% tuition for 4 years
  • Valued at over $35,000 in total scholarship
  • Includes robust personalized mentoring and programming
  • Limited to 12 students

Based on excellence in:

  • Academics (target 3.5 GPA or higher in core subjects-math, English/Language Arts, science, & social studies)
  • Leadership
  • Service
  • Onward Scholars essays
  • HSPT
  • Performance during Onward Scholars group and individual interviews

Médaille Distinction Scholarship Scholarship 

  • 65% tuition for 4 years
  • Valued at over $30,000 in total scholarship
  • Limited to up to 15 students who demonstrate the highest level of excellence in one or more of the following areas:
    • Leadership
    • Community service
    • Specified talents
    • Academic excellence

Belle Distinction Scholarship

  • 25% - 50% tuition for 4 years
  • Valued at $11,500 - $25,000 in total scholarship
  • Limited to 10 students who demonstrate a great level of excellence in one or more of the following areas:
    • Leadership
    • Community service
    • Specific talents
    • Academic excellence

St. Mary’s Academy works with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to administer our Financial Aid Program. When submitting the FACTS application, there is an application fee of $40. In order to be eligible for financial aid, you must apply each school year. 

Need-based aid includes funds awarded by the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) and other sources. Eligibility is determined annually through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment via its online application and CEF income guidelines.

The priority application deadline for need-based aid is January 12, 2024 for new students. Applications received after that date will be evaluated in the order in which they received and awarded as funds are available.
