Selection Criteria

Selection of incoming students to St. Mary´s Academy is made by the Admissions board and is based on careful consideration of the following:

  • Demonstration of excellence in character and conduct
  • Personal Insight Essay
  • Career Path Program Essay (if applicable)
  • Recommendation from the elementary school or transferring high school
  • Report cards from previous schools
  • Satisfactory achievement on the placement test and other standardized tests
  • Evidenced interest and desire to belong to the school community at St. Mary´s Academy
  • Interview with parent/ guardian and student
