Ms. Cotton is a product of Catholic Education, starting at a CSJ elementary school. She is an alumna of Immaculate Heart High School. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California that lead to a rewarding internship in the District Attorney’s Office and a visit to the Supreme Court in Washington, D. C. Her passion for education guided her to the collegiate level as Admissions Dossier Assistant for UCLA. With a staunch Catholic faith, she found fulfillment in Catholic Education as a Principal for elementary schools, a high school educator, academic adviser and Admissions Director . Later, she was hired as Regional Supervisor in the Los Angeles Archdiocese and assigned to 51 schools. Currently, she works as the Director of Admissions at St. Mary’s Academy. She also coordinates the Student Ambassador Organization. She takes pleasure in meeting incoming students, having personal interaction, and watching them grow from girls to young women. Carla feels blessed in having a part in preparing girls for the future, as well as what the world holds for all young women. For fun, she walks on the beach with her Bichon Frise, collects antique dolls, and enjoys driving along the coastline in her vintage Corvette.
