Sophomores serving our 'dear neighbors' at Union Rescue Mission

For Sophomore retreat the green ties went to Union Rescue Mission in DTLA to volunteer. They were able to work at the facility cleaning and organizing things for those in need. Some girls even painted nails for some of the homeless women, put on a show with songs and cheers, and watched children in the daycare center. The next day they reflected on what it means to have compassion and use that compassion to serve the dear neighbor. They did team building activities to show the importance of community and working together, as well as reflected in groups on their experience.
