On Saturday, May 18 students in ACE Mentor Program attended the End of Year Event for ACE: Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. They presented their design project, turning an assigned lot in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles into a multi-use recreation center. The students did a fantastic job through every phase, from brainstorming to sketching designs, to building models and creating a Power Point presentation. They spoke eloquently and professionally as they shared their design with everyone in the ACE organization. Oceanna Lenon, Red Tie '19, was awarded a scholarship, and three of our students: Blue Ties '20 Amy Valladares and Aliyah Brannon, and Gold Tie '22 Crystal Arredondo, received the opportunity to attend ACE camps this summer.
