Development Office Priorities
ON-GOING NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL
TUITION ASSISTANCE. There is a consistent need for making additional tuition
assistance scholarships available. Over 60% of our students receive
financial assistance
TECHNOLOGY. Technology updating is an on-going need. New desktop computers
have been added to the science labs, library and newly-built computer room.
Two mobile computer labs are available for student use; updating and
increasing technology will continue
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT. Funding for SMA's commitment to continuing
curriculum development such as the Health Careers, the Pre-engineering,
and the Communication Arts programs is essential.
PLANT IMPROVEMENT. A long-range plan for plant improvement has been developed.
Most of the goals have been accomplished due to generous benefactors.
Funding is still needed for continuing renovations and improvements.
